Embassy spokesman suggests those blaming Russia for targeting agents with mysterious weapon are ‘mentally unwell’ Claims that Russian operatives targeted CIA agents in Australia with a mysterious weapon have been dismissed by the Russian embassy, which suggested that those who blamed the country for such attacks were mentally unwell.

According to a report published in GQ magazine, two CIA agents, including one of the agency’s highest-ranking officials, were attacked during the second half of last year while working in Australia.
