The consequences for Hong Kong are going to be profound. I am now 100% sure that it is going to lose it's favorable trade relationship with the U.S., and there are going to be sanctions against Chinese officials. This is a sad moment. The Hong Kong that I have visited dozens of times over the years and gotten to love is now coming to an end.
