The Hill: WHO director warns coronavuris pandemic 'not close to being over'

June 29 (UPI) -- The director of the World Health Organization warned Monday that the coronavirus pandemic is "not close to being over," a day after after cornavirus pandemic topped 10 million cases and 500,000 deaths worldwide.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a video conference from the agency's headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, that despite "unprecedented measures to suppress transmission and save lives," the virus has not been completely stopped.
