Summit News: Greenwald: “Obscene and Reckless” For Schumer to Compare Capitol Hill Riot to Pearl Harbor 

Democrat Senator puts storming of Capitol building on a par with attack that killed over 2,400 Americans. Journalist Glenn Greenwald slammed Senator Chuck Schumer as “obscene and reckless” for comparing yesterday’s Capitol Hill riot to Pearl Harbor, an attack which killed over 2,400 Americans. 

Following the riot, during which Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building, Schumer gave a speech on the Senate floor in which he said January 6 was a date which would “live in infamy,” mirroring President Franklin Roosevelt’s speech after the Pearl Harbor attack.
