CTV News: 'Immediate emergency situation is over': PM Trudeau revokes Emergencies Act 

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the government will take steps to end the use of the Emergencies Act after it was invoked just over a week ago in response to the ongoing trucker convoy blockades and protests. 

Trudeau made the announcement alongside Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, Justice Minister David Lametti, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino, and Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair.

WNU Editor: After seriously damaging the reputation of Canada's banks because of his actions, the Prime Minister has realized that they made a mistake (though he will not admit it) .... That's good of them! Trudeau's government orders Canadian banks to unfreeze bank accounts of people who participated in or donated to Freedom Convoy after woke leader was condemned for authoritarian behavior (Daily Mail). 

As for revoking the 'Emergency Act' a day after going on the airwaves and saying why it was necessary. 

Well .... the polling numbers have shown a collapse in support of the Prime Minister since the implementation of these draconian laws (link here). 

Acting like an authoritarian is not a position that will garner support among most Canadians, and it looks like the Prime Minister and members of his own political party woke-up this morning realizing the obvious.
